Had the brakes looked at on my 2007 F150. They quoted a price right at $1200. It did need 4 new rotors and all new pads. Scheduled the work for the next morning, but wisely called Pepboys in Dover for a second opinion. Pepboys did the same job for $721.
I got my oil changed there last week. They did it at a great price and had me in and out in under 30 minutes. They even added some washer stuff for free! Bill and Brandon were very helpful.
Why sit in the ET showroom for hours when Gilberts...Hitchens......or Kings can do the job faster and without the annoying upsells...they wanted to rebuild my car one time!!!!!!! Exagerating but close to the truth.
DO NOT BOTHER. I have purchased new tires at the Expert Tire in Milford, Delaware and was not pleased at all with my experience. After the tires were installed the car now shakes at higher speeds. I brought the vehicle back and was told the weights were off in the tires. They informed me they had fixed the problem. It was not fixed and when I called again, the service advisor informed me it was because I didn't have an alignment. I brought the vehicle back for an alignment and oil change and when I picked up the vehicle, It was not fixed, although I was charged over $110.00 dollars. I brought the vehicle back for a fourth time, the next day, same problem, the service advisor told me there were numerous other repairs necessary to fix shaking. Each time I have brought the vehicle to the shop, they have picked it apart and list all the things that they are trying to upsell, but, have not fixed the problem. I was talked down to because I was a woman, who, apparently, didn't know what I was talking about. I will NEVER return to Expert Tire in Milford. I probably would have been better off having Wal-Mart install new tires. I have never had this problem before. Even with my old tires.
total rip off. charged me for work I did not need. Went in for a simple brake pads, They told me 200 before I came in and 900 after looking at the car. I got estimate of 400 from 3 other shops. they charge way too much. I only needed the rotor replaced on the passenger side yet they insisted I replace both rotors and calipers and flush the brake fluid. They refused to take the coupon. They insisted I get lifetime warranty even though I told them I did not want it. They held my car hostage for 3 days while I argued with the manager to release my car which they refused and told me I would have to tow the car if I did not have the work done. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER SETTING FOOT IN THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!
